Deze plant heeft een frisse uitstraling door de felle wit, groene bladeren. In the evening the Queenstar closes its leaves as the light fades. Stromanthe is from the Greek 'stroma' (bed) and 'anthos' (flower). The red flowers are contained in what looks like a bed at the top of the plant.
The plant can grow to more than one metre in height.

We deliver the Queenstar in the 12, 19 and 21 centimetre pot sizes.

Care tips

  • The Queenstar may be placed in a light place, but not in direct sunlight.
  • The temperature must remain between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius (59 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • The plant is a thirsty one; the pot ball should not be allowed to dry up. The most important aspect, however, is watering it regularly.
  • Adding plant food in the water every fortnight is very beneficial to the colour of the leaves.
