The Triostar is one of Valstar's varieties, which has been produced in- house. This plant has a fresh emanation due to the fierce white/green leaves. In the evening the Triostar closes its leaves as the light fades. Stromanthe is from the Greek word 'stroma' (bed) and 'anthos' (flower). The red flowers are contained in what looks like a bed at the top of the plant. The Triostar can grow up to more than one metre. .

Care tips

  • The Triostar may be placed in a light place, but not in direct sunlight
  • The temperature must remain between 15 and 25 degrees (59 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • The plant is a thirsty one; the pot ball should not be allowed to dry up. The most important aspect however, is watering it regularly.
  • Adding plant food in the water every fortnight is very beneficial to the colour of the leaves.
